Generate management and compliance-oriented reports from the operational and accounting records already stored in VillaTax.
The reports module is where VillaTax turns day-to-day records into outputs that are easier to review, export, or hand off. While the ledger, bookings, payroll, and tax screens are built for workflow, the reports area is built for structured summarization. It helps users step back from the raw transaction layer and look at the business (a property, an organization, or the full account) in a more organized and communicable way.
The module is available at Reports module.
The value of reporting is not just visual presentation. It is structured interpretation of data that already exists elsewhere in the product. A well-organized reports area helps answer:
That means reports act as a bridge between operational modules and formal outputs. They are not a replacement for the underlying records. They are a summary layer that makes those records more useful for different audiences.
Reports are useful at several recurring moments in the operating cycle:
Each audience wants a slightly different summary, but they all benefit from having a clean, trustworthy view that is derived from the same source records rather than reconstructed in a separate spreadsheet.
The reports area draws from the rest of the product. Its outputs are only as reliable as the records that feed them:
This is one of the core advantages of keeping operations inside VillaTax: reports are downstream from the same data the team already uses to run the business. They are not a separate reporting project that requires manual data entry into a different tool.
The reports area includes access to PPh 4(2) summary reporting and LKPM (Investment Activity Report) preparation. PPh 4(2) reports reflect the rental income tax position for the period, relevant for all organizations that receive rental income subject to the final 10% rate. LKPM reports capture investment realization and activity data required for entities with applicable BKPM obligations. Both are prepared from the records maintained in the relevant modules and organized into a reporting-ready format through the reports area.
When reporting happens entirely outside the product, teams recreate the same work repeatedly in spreadsheets. That leads to version confusion, inconsistencies between what the operating system shows and what the report says, and duplicated effort every period. Keeping reporting inside VillaTax reduces that problem by letting users derive outputs closer to the source system. The same platform that records the activity also becomes the place where that activity is interpreted and communicated.
Use Reports module when the question has moved from "what happened in this record?" to "what does this period, property, or organization look like overall?" Start from the reports area for structured summaries, then navigate back into the ledger, bookings, tax, or payroll modules when a specific figure needs investigation or correction.
