Keep entity-level financial context organized for fiscal review, accounting interpretation, and annual reporting preparation.
Corporate financials is the entity-level fiscal review layer in VillaTax, sitting above individual accounting records and below formal statutory reporting. It is useful when the product is being used not only for bookings and tax tracking, but as a more complete financial operating record for a PT, CV, or similar business structure. The module helps connect operational accounting outputs to the entity-level picture that owners, advisors, and annual review processes need to see.
The module lives at Corporate Financials module.
Corporate financials becomes relevant when the organization's structure and reporting needs go beyond a simple revenue-and-cost view:
For Perorangan operating a single villa under a simple structure, this module may be less relevant than the P&L and balance sheet views. For more complex entities, it fills an important gap.
Corporate financials connects several data layers to give an entity-level view:
Corporate financials is part of a group of modules that together make up the entity's financial picture:
Corporate financials is not a replacement for any of these. It is the layer that helps make sense of them together, from an entity and annual reporting perspective.
Corporate financials in VillaTax is a review and organization layer, not a statutory financial reporting tool. It does not produce a formal audited balance sheet, a compliant SPT 1771 package ready for filing, or the statutory financial statements required under UU 40/2007 for PT structures.
What it does is keep the financial context organized and interpretable inside VillaTax so that the work with an external advisor or filing preparation service starts from a cleaner, more complete set of records. The gap between what VillaTax provides and what a formal statutory filing requires is where professional services (including the annual tax return service in the services module) become relevant.
For PT structures, PPh Badan (corporate income tax) is calculated at 22% of taxable net income. Entities with gross revenue under IDR 50 billion may qualify for a partial 50% reduction under Pasal 31E UU PPh, depending on the proportion of revenue from domestic sources. The corporate financials module provides the accounting context that feeds into this calculation, but the final determination of taxable income requires a formal fiscal reconciliation process with an advisor or at filing time.
Use Corporate Financials module once the core accounting records are in place and the organization needs an entity-level financial view for fiscal review, advisor collaboration, or annual reporting preparation. Ensure the general ledger, P&L, and balance sheet records are current before using this module as an entity-level summary. The quality of the corporate financials view depends directly on the completeness of the underlying accounting records.
